Custom Reports

Available to: Level 9 and 10 users.

Custom reports provide information on a variety of content and features in OU Campus. Each report type has a number of parameters available.

Checking some parameters includes that information in the report. Other parameters can limit the range of the report, if specified. For any reports with date chooser parameters, choosing a date range limits the results to that time period.

The "Path" and "Product Path" parameters have a field for entering a root-relative path that limits the results to files in that folder or lower. When entering a path, you can also:

  • Use "%" as a wildcard substitute for any string of text. For example, entering /%.png in Path finds all PNG files in the site; entering /%/images/ finds all files within an /images/ folder on the site.
  • Use "_" as a single-character wildcard. To find files or directories with an underscore in the path, use \ to escape the underscore from its normal use as a wildcard. For example, to search for files in /_resources, enter /\_resources/ in the Path field.

Reports can be run with as few or as many parameters as necessary. Each report has the option to Select All.
