Permissions Chart (Beta Test)

For reference, here is the original Permissions Chart

Each user level has both inherent available abilities and abilities that can be allowed or restricted in their user settings. All actions described below can only be performed in areas to which the user has access.

For each user level listed below, the user abilities are divided into Can Do (abilities that level always has), Can Be Granted (abilities that can be turned on or off for a specific user of that level), and Can't Do (abilities the level never has).

Level 0 users are intended to review changes to pages and publish, but not to make content edits themselves.

1-ContributorLink to this section

Contributors are general content editors who should be updating pages but not making new material.

2-ContributorLink to this section

Contributors are general content editors who should be updating pages but not making new material.

Contributors are general content editors who should be updating pages but not making new material.

Contributors are general content editors who should be updating pages but not making new material.

5-EditorLink to this section

These are more general editors with wider abilities to modify and create content.

Level 10 users are system administrators who can do everything and go everywhere in the site.
