About OU Campus

OU Campus is a content management system (CMS) that makes it easy to edit website pages without complicated code (although it can do that, too). It loads in your web browser; as long as you have an internet connection and a site that's been integrated with OU Campus.

OU Campus stores all of your pages in its file system. Other resource files handle the design and visual appearance of your website. This separation of content (pages) and design (design files) simplifies your editing experience.

When you publish a page to the live website, the world can see your work. Set user levels and access restrictions to control who can edit and publish. Create new pages and sections using templates that automatically apply designs to the new files.

Additional tools help you create reusable content, run reports, and more. OU Campus is a feature-rich product with the capability to build a great many things in your website.

You can host OU Campus on either our servers or one you run. It is server-agnostic and functions in both Windows and Linux environments. The CMS supports all server-side languages (PHP, ASPX, ColdFusion, etc.) and files built within the system use XML and XSL to transform content from our Publish Control File (PCF) extension into HTML on your live website.
