Using Social Media and RSS
OU Campus provides several ways to integrate social media. Content can be sent to both Twitter and Facebook with a page publish. Additionally, with the new OU Social feature, it is possible to manage the content on Facebook pages from within OU Campus. Blog content may also be integrated into OU Campus and managed through the interface. An RSS feed can be set up and feed items added by users.
OU Social
OU Social is a Facebook app that provides a powerful yet simple solution to increase the presence of the institution on Facebook. By linking a Facebook Page to OU Campus, users can select which OU Campus-managed web page will be synchronized with the Facebook Page. Send to Facebook
The Send to Facebook feature allows authorized users to automatically send wall posts to Facebook Pages. This feature enables users to create wall posts from OU Campus in conjunction with the creation or update of content, which can occur on an immediate or scheduled basis. Send to Twitter
Send to Twitter allows users to send a tweet to a linked Twitter account. In addition to the desired content, this message can contain a link to the page, and admins can set up a default tweet, which will auto-populate for the end user. Posting to a Blog
The OUBlogs feature allows content to be added to blogs utilizing blogging systems, such as WordPress, through OU Campus. Learn more...
