Overview

Login credentials for the Super Administration interface are provided to clients who have purchased a self-hosted license of OU Campus. The administrative contact for an institution with a self-hosted installation can contact the OmniUpdate Support Team for assistance in obtaining the proper credentials. An institution with a SaaS implementation may contact their sales representative about purchasing Super Administration access.

The Login screen URL (e.g. http://domain.edu/admin/#skin/) is provided with the credentials. Feel free to contact the OmniUpdate Support Team for assistance in locating the Login page for a specific institution.

SuperAdmin Login Screen

Upon logging in to the Super Administration interface the Accounts screen is shown by default. Other functionality and utilities are available via the global navigation bar.

Icon Description
Accounts Menu Item Displays the list of accounts in the skin. Includes the functionality to add a new account and edit and manage settings for accounts. Shows statistics for the skin.
Administrators Menu Item Displays list of administrator accounts in the SuperAdmin interface for the current skin. Includes functionality to create new administrators and edit and manage the settings for administrators.
Reports Menu Item Includes the functionality to run user and group reports.
Site Login Menu Item Allows users to log in directly to any site under any account in the current skin.
Current Administrator Menu Item Clicking the administrator name links to the currently logged-in administrator's user settings. The Logout link is also located on this menu.
Help Menu Item The Help menu includes external links to the following:
  • About: Current version of OU Campus that the skin is running
  • Support: The OU Campus v10 Support Site
  • Community: The OmniUpdate Community Network (OCN)
  • Feedback: OU Campus New Features and Feedback Forum
