  1. Intro

The Account screen provides administrators the ability to modify all the global settings for the account. These settings affect all sites and users. To access the following screen, any Level 10 user must click the "Setup" tab, then the "Account" link.

Edit User

E-Mail Address:
Messages sent by the system will come from this address. If this field is left empty, all system messages will come from support@omniupdate.com.
Editor:
Defines the default editor for the account. Can be overridden per user and per page.
Just-Edit:
Enables Just-Edit for administrators to be able to activate this feature on a per-user basis, or allow users to enable themselves.
Time Zone:
Defines the Time Zone for the account.Leave blank for server default ("America/Los_Angeles" for hosted customers).
Locale:
Defines the locale settings for the account. Leave blank for server default ("en_US" for hosted customers).
Help URL:
Defines the URL for the online help site. Leave blank for standard OmniUpdate-provided help or enter a URL for help site you would like your users to use.
CAS URL:
Replaces the standard OmniUpdate login page with a CAS page (Central Authentication System or "Single-Sign-On")for the account.
Announcement URL:
Replaces the information greetingbox on the right-hand side of the login page with the chosen URL.

Add-Ons:

To create new "Add-Ons", click the "New" button, and enter the name of the new application in the first field (what your users willclick on), and the full URLto the target web application in the second field.

To delete an Add-On, simply click the delete button and the Add-On will be removed.
